The solemn philosopher Muskrat

The whiskered Muskrat is a solemn old fellow who likes to spend his time in peace and quiet reading books. One of his favourite spots is a hammock in the Moomin’s garden. The pessimist philosopher thinks all fuss and excess is useless, and he’s not easily bothered about anything. However, losing his dignity is the worst thing he knows, which happens all too often in the Moominhouse.
