The Moomin family surely knows how to make the most of the seaside. On the beach, there’s so much to do and discover!

For Moomintroll, the seaside is an endless treasury for new and exciting shells to find—only this time, he stumbles across a trail of buttons. They belong to the Fuddler, another creature who likes collecting things, and the two immediately become friends.

That’s too bad for Snorkmaiden! Not getting Moomintroll’s full attention, she retreats into a giant seashell to sulk. The annoyance is quickly forgotten since it’s time for a refreshing dip in the water. After the swim, Moominmamma’s picnic treats could not taste any better.

The atmospheric illustrations are based on Tove and Lars Jansson’s comic “Fuddler’s Courtship” from 1959.
